Australia Day 2009

For Australia Day we didn’t do much at all. We stayed home & did off jobs around the house. While Solomon was asleep I got some paint out for Kateleigh & Danika. They also used cotton buds as well as brushes. When Solomon woke, he had a go at painting too.














Late this afternoon Ash started digging the ground in preperation for the trench. He’s going to be putting in pipes to go to the sink in our BBQ area. Ash has a sink ready & waiting, just have to hook up the pipes to the tap. Anyway he dug the ground & the kids including Solomon had a ball catching worms.

All my kids love any type of creature (with the exception of cockroaches, flies & toads). Solomon had a BALL trying to put his worm “in the tree”. Girls made homes for their’s & tried to keep Solomon from touching them LOL.

A few times it started to rain, so they ran out in the rain. We also saw a rainbow & the girls were delighted with that. They also had a go at helping Ash with the digging…
