This year we went to Brisbane for Christmas. We could have stayed home, but it’s no fun being by ourselves Christmas Day. My family all got together & we had a wonderful day.
On Christmas Eve we gave the kids their main present from us. We didn’t see the point in taking 2 big presents just to be unwrapped & then come back in the car. We gave Kateleigh & Danika are dolls house to share & Solomon got a train table. Solomon thought the train picture was cool & the girls were excited when they unwrapped their present.
We left Christmas Eve & stopped & saw mum at work. It was a hot day though & 2 crayons melted in the car! After we got there we started to wind down & enjoy ourselves.
Kateleigh really wanted SLIME. I could not get ANY slime. I told her that I had heard on the news that Santa had run out of slime making supplies & she believed that.
Here is what they woke up to. Danika was first awake. She carefully went through her Santa sack. Then Kateleigh woke & did the same. They both didn’t even see the new bikes sitting there! Even when we pointed it out they didn’t click the bikes were for them!

Solomon was NOT interested in his presents. He just wanted to play with the Thomas trains mum had! He is obsessed with anything Thomas. Eventually he looked at his presents & started to play with them (2 weeks later when we got back from holidays).

At lunchtime we had all the family there. Monique, Darren, Tayah & Kade, Paula, Chris, Jai & Amaya, Ryan, Sarah & little Ava & my brother Mark. Ash’s brother Brad dropped over in the afternoon as well.
We had a lovely lunch together, but it was so fun all opening Christmas presents together. The kids were busting with excitement. Here are photos from the day. I think Christmas is better now than ever before. I LOVE to see my kids open presents. It was a wonderful day spent with my family & people we love most.
After lunch the kids had a piñata. Monique bought it & the kids LOVED it. Both my girls had a very good swing on them!!!

Gosh there are some fabulous pics in that bunch BB, I adore the pic of Solomon and Amaya kissing and the on of K and D on the bikes together is great too. And wow look at all the presents under the tree!!!
