Weekend in Brissy

Ash had a rare weekend off, so we decided to go down to Brissy to see our families. We left here early Friday morning & got there about lunchtime. I spent Friday at the shops with mum & Paula & had some great retail therapy. I picked up some REALLY good bargains. I got the girls some lovely clothes that were 50% off then a further 25%off again. So now they have some clothes to grow into for next summer.

Sat Ash & I picked up a cupboard from my Aunty Dawn’s. She gave us a cupboard which will be for Danika & fits in her room well. Aunty Dawn gave the girls a special treat by buying Danika a “rainbow” ice-cream & Kateleigh a packet of Darrell smarties. The girls thought they were in heaven!

Late Sat afternoon we went to Brad & Raylene’s for a BBQ. The girls had so much fun there. Jacob & Sarah have lots of pets! Sarah got her guinea pigs out & the girls sat in the backyard holding them on their laps. They loved holding them, but I’m not sure how the guinea pigs felt!









After that, they had a turn at holding mice! Sarah has 16 mice & she breeds them. They also have a cat, lobster & fish. The girls followed Sarah around everywhere. They had fun playing a few games & doing puzzles as well.

Jai just loves Solomon. He is still not very good at being gentle, but he wants to cuddle Solomon a lot. Here they are playing together.
